'Robards' Mother'

I have three different versions of this photo but I think I like this one the best.
This was taken with my Diana camera, ideally it should be in colour. The other version is in colour, very grainy on 35mm film. Im not sure if I like it; in it mum is holding a cat, I converted it to Black and White but am still not happy with it.
 Maybe it will grow on me. I think I will have to redo it in the future.
The title and composition was inspired by James McNeill Whistler's painting 'Whistler's Mother.'
